TASTING NOTES

"The 2013 pinot noir is is round with vibrant fruity notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry and liquorice."

On the nose, Pinot Noir offers in its first years a diversity of aromas ranging from fresh red fruits (blackcurrant, cherry...). On the palate, it is rather round, with assertive but delicate tannins.

Tasting Temperature: 13 - 15 degrees celsius

Food pairing: It is the perfect accompaniment to roast pork or serve as an aperitif with tapas.

Maison Chanzy produces 40 appellations including 11 grands crus and 13 premiers crus among the greatest names of Burgundy.

Historically established in Bouzeron, they are owners of 80 hectares spread over the three Côtes of Burgundy, with a dominant position in “Côte Chalonnaise”.

Their quest for excellence begins with the observation of the terroirs and continues with long, precise and delicate work during vinification and maturing, so that each “climate” is expressed in the purest Burgundian tradition.

Each parcel is therefore harvested, vinified, matured and bottled separately. Maturing is done in barrels whose origins have been rigorously selected to respect the identity of each parcel of vines.
